[I enrolled in the program because] I found myself having mental breakdowns and trouble with the growing stress at work through the years. Having not found much success in obtaining tools to deal with the constant pressure of work through other means like therapy, I was seeking new ways to relieve the stress.
In the course, Kate presents numerous tools to help process your thoughts. Freewriting was by far the most helpful to me personally. I didn't have a lot of healthy ways to process my anger, stress and anxiety - particularly in my demanding work life. Using freewriting to vent about stress, pressure and ultimately diving deep into the thoughts provided a therapeutic way to get to the heart of what was causing the anxiety or stress. While I'm new to this process after just finishing the program, I can tell the benefits of not only writing out my thoughts, but also allowing myself to take a deeper, unfiltered look into those thoughts - no matter what they may reveal.
Kate is extremely easy to talk to and explains things very thoroughly in the program. Our sessions flew by. It felt more like discussing topics with a friend than being instructed through a program. One of the things I connected well with was that she had been through similar situations in work that I have. That made it really easy to open up knowing she understood what I went through without judgment.

The biggest change I experienced in the program was reverting back to my routine and creating a new practice, which grounds me. I also learned how to recognize physical triggers, allowing me to pause when needed.
